Beautifully refurbed seaside cottage, near foodie restaurants, great shops and the beach (sleeps 4)
Space & setting.
It was love at first sight for the owners of this light-filled cottage; the first and only property they saw on their search. They spent almost a year meticulously crafting it into the stylish escape it is today, and with a plum location in the heart of Whitstable, it’s absolutely ideal for burnt-out city-dwellers who seek sea air and super-fresh shellfish. Beds are cloud-soft, the Shaker-style kitchen makes self-catering a breeze, and there’s even an outdoor bar washed in oyster shell blue, bringing beach shack vibes to your back garden. Speaking of the beach, you’re just a hop and a skip from the pretty pebble shore with its bright beach huts; morning swims couldn’t be easier.
If you’re coming from London, you can swap smog for sea air in under 2 hours, and sink right into the quirky independent scene here. Eat your way around town, from friendly delis and artisan bakeries to foodie pubs and cool cocktail bars. And if the beachfront gets too crowded at sunset, soak up ‘Golden Hour’ from the sofas at the back of the garden instead, dinner sizzling on the grill.

Yes – they can accept up to 2 dogs per booking.
It’s great for families with older kids – as the stairs are quite steep and they don’t any baby/ child facilities, they only accept children over 10.
Sorry, no. There are some items to borrow for beach days – foldable chairs, cool box, cushions – but you need to bring your own beach towels.
