A stunning eco lodge and immersive Highland experience all rolled into one, set in Perthshire countryside (sleeps 8)
Space & setting.
We don’t like to throw around the word ‘sensational’, but it’s the perfect description of this eco-luxe lodge in Scotland’s most-coveted countryside. Marrying the exclusivity of a private rental with all the bells and whistles of a 5* hotel should you want them (eg a private chef and butler, full concierge services etc), it’s so much more than a place to stay – it’s a celebratory Highlands experience. You’ll arrive with a bespoke itinerary tailored to your group’s wishes and desires, whether that’s independent self catering and walks from the front door, or brilliant excursions, as many as you want. Think wild swimming in lochs and mountain biking through forests, golfing at Gleneagles and salmon fishing on the River Tay, or local whisky tasting and dining in the wilderness. There’s even a helicopter that can whisk you to the Isle of Skye for fairy-pool dips and a Michelin-star lunch.
Surrounded by woodlands and wildflower meadows on a private estate, the lodge itself is a sanctuary of calm, with impressive green credentials and stunning, contemporary interiors, including 4 beautiful bedrooms. As an extended family or a group of friends, the memories you make here will be the stories you share for years to come.
Getting here: train to Dunkeld then private transfer to the lodge (25 mins)

Surrounds.
- Unforgettable Highland experiences await. Start with a hike up Schiehallion, the local Munro, then race down forest trails on mountain bikes to the village of Kenmore, and drift down the River Tay to Aberfeldy in a canoe or kayak.
- Indulge in the best of Scotland’s larder with a bespoke 5-course tasting menu from Ballintaggart Farm, served in your dining room.
- Pile into Land Rovers for a day of fishing on the River Tay or in the lochs surrounding the lodge.
- Take a whisky-tasting tour — there’s Dewar’s Distillery in nearby Aberfeldy or visit Glenturret Distillery, the oldest working distillery in Scotland, hidden in a Highland glen alongside their fine-dining restaurant.
- You’re within easy reach of iconic golf courses. Choose from nearby Crieff (30 mins), Gleneagles (50 mins) or St Andrews (90 mins) and the lodge team can book tee times and transport for you.
- Let little ones run wild. A local company can whisk kids away for a whole day of outdoor fun – perhaps canoeing, abseiling and island picnics or bush craft skills and climbing trees.
- Dine in the wilderness. Hike through one of the beautiful private estates nearby (with a Highland pony carrying the supplies) to find a tipi set up with a sumptuous lunch, followed by a falconry display of wild Scottish birds and eagles.
- Helicopter to the Isle of Skye. You’ll soar over mountains then land at the historic Eilean Donan Castle, before swimming in the famous fairy pools and lunching at Michelin-starred Three Chimneys or Kinloch Lodge. On the way home, look out for the Hogwarts Express puffing across the Glenfinnan Viaduct.
- Or just stroll into Aberfeldy (10 mins) where you’ll find organic coffee roasters, smart brasseries and Aberfeldy Watermill, an independent book shop in an old oatmeal mill with a café and art gallery.
