Escape real life for a wee while by immersing yourself in Scotland’s natural beauty at this cosy cabin. Set on its own little patch of a working farm, it gives you space to feel secluded yet still watch the daily rhythms of farm life unfold. Morning is the most magical time of day, as the electric blind slowly reveals a tranquil scene of sheep grazing in the neighbouring field and the village of St Fillans at the foot of a pine-covered mountain. Take a invigorating dunk in the cold-water therapy barrel, or ease yourself gently into the day with some fireside reading and a hot shower.

Inside, the cabin has a real cocooning feel; all soft linens, sheepskin throws and light earthy tones (plus underfloor heating!). It would be perfectly acceptable to simply nestle in for a few days of blissful nothingness. But if the outdoors are calling, there’s Loch Earn for wild swims and SUP, hidden glens to lose yourself in and majestic Munros to climb – all on your doorstep.

“I’ve lived on our family farm all my life. When I’m not in the hospital working as a midwife, I’m here with my dad and partner working with the sheep. It’s been my dream to create a unique space on our farm so guests can come and enjoy the views I see everyday. It’s been a bonkers 2 years pulling it all together, but I’m so happy it has finally become a reality.” Owner, Lorna

  • "The cabin is small, but designed with space efficiency in mind and kitted out with a luxury yet minimalist feel. The living area feels open and relaxed, while the shower room and toilet feels spacious and private. The kitchen is fully-equipped and the cold water therapy whisky barrel, fire pit and marshmallows for toasting were a wonderful extra touch. The location was perfect for us, only 90 minutes drive from Edinburgh. The host, Lorna, and her family were kind and accommodating. Lorna’s mum even gave us a lift to the local pub in Comrie! My advice: stay here! You’ll never want to leave!"
