Incredible 17thC thatched cottage and walled garden, cradled in Wiltshire countryside (sleeps 5 or 7)
Space & setting.
*Brand new*
Slow down, unwind, and enjoy the simple pleasures at this utterly idyllic cottage cradled in Wiltshire countryside. Part-time home to James and Bex, a cinematographer and costume designer who split their time between Los Angeles and the UK, it’s s a creative, characterful haven designed for easy living. Once a pair of workman’s cottages, the house is a unique warren of rooms, beamed ceilings and boho-chic decor beneath a picture-book thatched roof. And with 5 bedrooms including a separate annex, there’s plenty of space for gathering friends and family.
In summer, the walled garden comes alive — play croquet on the lawn, pick fresh fruit from the apple, plum, and pear trees, plunder the greenhouse for herbs and vegetables, or simply lounge in the sunshine listening to the birds and the breeze. In colder months, admire the area’s iconic chalk horses on long rambles then curl up by the fire with a good book while dinner slow cooks in the Aga. An English countryside dream.
