Space & setting.

We don’t like to throw around the word ‘sensational’, but it’s the perfect description of this eco-luxe lodge in Scotland’s most-coveted countryside. Marrying the exclusivity of a private rental with all the bells and whistles of a 5* hotel should you want them (eg a private chef and butler, full concierge services etc), it’s so much more than a place to stay – it’s a celebratory Highlands experience. You’ll arrive with a bespoke itinerary tailored to your group’s wishes and desires, whether that’s independent self catering and walks from the front door, or brilliant excursions, as many as you want. Think wild swimming in lochs and mountain biking through forests, golfing at Gleneagles and salmon fishing on the River Tay, or local whisky tasting and dining in the wilderness. There’s even a helicopter that can whisk you to the Isle of Skye for fairy-pool dips and a Michelin-star lunch.

Surrounded by woodlands and wildflower meadows on a private estate, the lodge itself is a sanctuary of calm, with impressive green credentials and stunning, contemporary interiors, including 4 beautiful bedrooms. As an extended family or a group of friends, the memories you make here will be the stories you share for years to come.

Getting here: train to Dunkeld then private transfer to the lodge (25 mins)

“This was previously a 1950s bungalow, and when we took over the estate it was boarded up and pretty derelict. We immediately saw its potential.” Owner, John.

  • "We had an absolutely wonderful experience over Christmas, above and beyond expectations. It is extremely comfortable and practical for a large group and designed beautifully with luxury furnishings and everything to hand that our group needed. John suggested catering options from Ballintaggart which added to the convenience of our stay. While we were able to do a lot of hikes and walks nearby, we really hope we will back to enjoy the house and the town in the summer. It’s an incredible home and lovely spot to enjoy with friends and family."

Sustainability.

Received the Gold Award from Green Tourism for their Sustainability and Environmental practices, which include full recycling, composting, no single-use plastic where possible, and encouraging guests to come in 1 vehicle or be collected in one from the airport and to walk everywhere once here.
